Raquel is the daughter of Manny and Lorraine Quintero and has been a part of Manny's Enterprise since it first opened in 1980. With her parents' encouragement she has diligently learned every aspect of the business.  She currently oversees the sales department and puts all of her focus into the seafood industry. Raquel believes that quality service is just as important as quality product. "Our service stands out from others because we strive to give personal attention. We establish relationships with every one of our customers and work hard to ensure their satisfaction with every order."

  

John began his career at Manny's in 1987 and has served as the company director since July of 1999. He has over 30 years of experience in seafood sales. He started out in his father's fish market at the age of twelve, quickly developing the knowledge and skills he would later bring to Manny's. John currently sources and purchases products from all over the world at competitive prices. His knowledge in seafood is expansive and he closely watches the market, keeping our prices sharp. He believes that our company stands out from others because: "Our full attention is given to each individual customer. We establish relationships with our customers to ensure their confidence because their satisfaction is our goal to being a successful company." John enjoys working at Manny's because: "I am able to see my family every day and it's not a monotonous job, the market is always changing which makes my job interesting."


Lazaro began his career at Manny's Enterprise in 1993 as a sales representative. As our Inventory Control Manager, Lazaro supervises key functions within the purchasing department and serves as a consultant for new products. Lazaro's culinary background provides useful knowledge to our customers and sales team in regards to varying types of seafood and their application in the kitchen.

Alex spent his summers learning the family business. Filing invoices and answering phones. Due to his extremely charismatic personality, he began his career as a sales representative and purchaser for Manny's Enterprise in early 2000. He actively participates in the seafood industry attending food shows and is keen on quality and customer satisfaction. Alex is bilingual speaking both English and Spanish, which helps broaden the communication between the diverse communities that we service. Alex enjoys working at Manny's because: "It's a unique environment when you work with family, there is no competition between us; we all work together." Alex also has a knack for cooking, and contributes frequently as a guest post on his brother's website "Lazaro Cooks."

Manny has been working in all facets of the food industry from managing restaurants, cold storage distribution centers and brokering commodities worldwide since 1970. He chose to establish his wholesale seafood distribution in 1979 with his wife Lorraine at his side. Reflecting on our achievements over the past thirty four years, he credits the success of his business to perseverance, hard work and having the loving support of his family at all times. "Since the company is completely family owned, there is a more obvious dedication to customer service from all of our employees."

 

In 1972 Lorraine attended the Stenotype Institute of Jacksonville Beach, Florida studying court reporting. In 1974 she worked for North Dade Medical Hospital meticulously auditing billing for patients' medical records. In 1980 she co-founded Manny's Enterprise, Inc. alongside her husband Manuel Quintero. She credits Manny's Enterprise success to three basic company principles established over 30 years ago; Quality product, excellent customer service, and great employees. Lorraine with a zest for numbers currently oversees and manages the employees and finances in the accounts receivable and the accounts payable departments. It's never work when you enjoy what you do, I couldn't ask for a better team."

Frank began working with Manny's in 1994 overseeing our accounts receivable department. He was offered a sales position 1997 due to his excellent customer communication skills. In 2000, he was given the opportunity to purchase products simultaneously establishing excellent relationships with global suppliers. He has a vast knowledge of customer service and seafood products which he learned in his youth alongside his father Frank Sr. and his mother Joan at their family fish market. Frank enjoys working at Manny's because: "There's nothing like being able to see and work with your family every day, I love it." Frank believes that our company differs from the others because: "we create individual relationships with our customers and quality is important with both product and service.

Rusty's first "taste" in seafood was driving trailers over the road from New York's Fulton Fish Market to South Florida. In his early years, he worked for various other local seafood distributors. Rusty began his career with Manny's in 1990 as a driver and a certified forklift operator. He currently co-ordinates and oversees all hands-on operations associated with our inventory and is our warehouse manager. In 2010 with over two decades of knowledge and experience, he joined our sales team and is a true asset to our company bridging the gap between our sales force and our customers.

Alexis quickly adapts to the ever changing intricacies within the seafood industry, while bringing new and fresh ideas to our daily operations. Alexis graduated from Florida International University in August 2011, with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and a Minor in Business Administration. She has been a sales representative for the company for six years. Alexis believes that Manny's is unique because: "Our service is unparalleled. We are a family company and we treat our customers like family as well."


 Kyle graduated "Magna Cum Laude" from Florida International University August 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. He is part of the University's Honor Society as well. After graduation, he chose to work for Manny's because: "It's an extremely unique environment and I'm happy to be part of the family." Kyle's main goal for the future is: "To apply everything I have learned in college to this business and gain more experience and knowledge while working with this great team."

Alfonso Bernal joined Manny's Seafood in 2013 as a sales associate. He has wasted no time enhancing his relationships within the Miami restaurant community. He is a truly gifted sales person, armed with an easily likeable personality and an acute knowledge of the seafood industry. Alfonso is bilingual speaking both English and Spanish.


Christina got an early start in the hospitality industry at the age of 17 while working the front desk of a local hotel. She later found herself fully immersed in the industry and began to work at The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort in the Catering and Events department as the Events Manager. Christina attended and graduated from Florida International University with her Bachelor's in Hospitality Management. In 2012 she joined the Manny's Sales team applying her knowledge and experience in sales quickly becoming one of the youngest yet proficient sales representatives at Manny's.

Roberto Cadalso joined our team in 2014. Graduating from the Academia Naval in Havana Cuba as a naval engineer, Roberto is no stranger to the seas. He worked as a Captain / Master Mariner for over 24 years, his duties included but were not limited to maintaining cargo, equipment maintenance, navigation and ensuring the safety of his crew. With his discipline and bilingual communication skills he is able to ensure his customers' needs are always met. 

Randy Cordova began his career with Manny's in early 2015. He is currently working towards his degree majoring in business administration and minoring in public relations. He has excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of our team while supporting multiple supervisors. He has a genuine interest in helping our customers while always providing exceptional customer service. We look forward to watching his career excel within our family.

Jay's interest and familiarity with seafood began at an early age. His father was a Portuguese fisherman that always had seafood on the menu at home. A New England native, Jay graduated from Springfield College in 2006 majoring in business management. His passion and talent for the game of golf brought him to sunny South Florida as a semi-pro. He is a fully licensed successful professional realtor. He is a member of  the greater Fort Lauderdale and National Association of Realtors.
Jay has worked within the restaurant industry since 2011, joining Manny's in early 2015 as a sales associate, Jay's main focus is to understand his customers' needs, provide excellent quality products, great customer service and competitive pricing.
